- What Is an Invitation Suite?
At its core, a standard wedding suite typically includes the main invitation, details card, RSVP card, and matching envelopes.
For luxury suites, we elevate those essential pieces into a rich, immersive experience for your guests. Depending on your celebration, we can build on the basics with extra cards that give your guests a glimpse into the entire weekend, like rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, itineraries, and other weekend events. A suite can be as simple as 3 core pieces, or expand with curated inserts tailored to all your weekend festivities.
This is where the process really gets fun! We can add custom embellishments like envelope liners, hand-dyed silk ribbon, wax seals, belly bands, custom die-cut shaped cards, custom envelope shapes, gatefolds, pockets, and bespoke artwork. Everything can be tailored as far as your imagination takes us to create something truly unforgettable.
- What Do Most Couples Invest?
Our custom suites begin at $3,000. Most of our couples choose to add custom upgrades and specialty embellishments, bringing their average investment to $6,000+.
Because every suite is fully tailored to your vision, your final investment will depend on your guest count, printing methods, paper selections, and any bespoke additions you choose to include.
- How Far in Advance Should We Begin?
We recommend ordering Save the Dates 10 to 12 months prior to your celebration. If you are hosting a destination wedding, starting even earlier is best to allow your guests ample time to plan for travel and accommodations.
For your invitation suites, we initiate the design process 7 to 9 months before your wedding date. Domestic invitations are typically mailed 8 to 12 weeks in advance, while destination weddings and multi-day celebrations are mailed 12 to 16 weeks prior.
- What Printing Methods Do You Use?
We specialize in fine art print techniques that bring rich texture and depth to your suite. Our capabilities include letterpress, foil stamping, traditional embossing and debossing, sculpted embossing, and digital printing.
Letterpress creates a classic, deep recessed impression into heavy paper, while foil stamping adds a crisp, luminous accent. Traditional embossing and debossing press details into the paper without ink for clean raised or sunken textures, and sculpted embossing takes this further by using custom three-dimensional dies for multi-level raised detail. Digital printing offers a sleek finish for guest addressing and full-color artwork. We often layer these techniques together to create a completely tailored presentation for your stationery.
- How Many Invitations Do We Need?
Order one suite per household, not per guest. Add a small buffer for keepsakes and last-minute additions.
- Do You Include Envelope Addressing?
Yes, we offer tailored service levels to fit your needs. You may choose to have your completed suite shipped directly to you to assemble and mail yourselves, or you can opt for our full white-glove service.
With our white-glove option, our team takes care of every detail, including guest addressing, hand-assembly, stamp curation, envelope sealing, and direct delivery to the post office. We also offer trackable mailing options so you can monitor your suites as they make their way to your guests.
- What Happens After We Approve Proofs?
Production begins after you approve digital proofs. Please review carefully. Changes after approval may require a reprint at your cost.
- Do you offer sample kits?
Yes, once your deposit is paid, we send a sample kit featuring selected pieces from our past work. This kit is tailored to your preferences, allowing you to experience our paper stocks, printing methods, and embellishments in person before final production begins.
