The Suite
Ariel first met Andrea while traveling through Italy, and what began as a chance encounter blossomed into a love story that brought them right back to where it all started. Naturally, they chose to celebrate their wedding in the romantic countryside of Verona.
When we sat down to design their stationery, Ariel wanted a suite that felt effortlessly romantic, refined, and deeply tied to the history of their setting. Because they had guests coming from Italy and all over the world, we designed the entire suite in both English and Italian. It was such a thoughtful touch that seamlessly honored both of their backgrounds and brought their two worlds together.
The real heart of the design came directly from their venue, Villa Verità Fraccaroli. This incredible late 16th-century estate, known as Il Boschetto, sits right at the foot of the San Briccio hill just outside Verona. It was originally built for the poet and philosopher Gerolamo Verità, and it is packed with stunning architectural history, including a massive allegorical ceiling fresco by Anselmi. Ariel fell completely in love with that painted ceiling, so we pulled a detail straight from the original artwork and incorporated it directly into the invitation suite. That single decision set the tone for everything else. The rich, romantic hues inside the painting became the exact color palette for the entire suite, creating a seamless connection between the paper and the villa itself.
The finished collection was pure quiet luxury. It felt grounded in the history of the property, entirely personal to Ariel and Andrea, and gave their guests an unforgettable first look at their celebration in Italy.
From the Couple
“Everything I had imagined, brought to life”
As every bride and groom who finds themselves here knows, wedding planning can be incredibly daunting. You start with a vision of your dream wedding, only to have pieces of that vision slowly chipped away as the realities of the budget set in. That’s why finding a vendor who helps you hold onto that vision while staying within your budget feels like striking gold.
That is exactly how I feel about Danielle and The Paper Garden Co. She designed our wedding invitation suite, seating chart, and menus, and working with her was one of the best decisions we made. She was an absolute joy to work with and somehow took everything I had imagined and brought it to life in a way that exceeded every expectation.
One of my favorite details was the custom envelope liner she designed, inspired by the frescoes on the ceiling of our Italian wedding villa. It was such a beautiful and unexpected touch that served as a unique Easter egg for our guests, tying our invitations directly to the place where we would say our vows. It perfectly captured the thoughtfulness and artistry she brings to every design.
Our invitation suite literally makes people gasp when they see it. The craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail were beyond anything I could have imagined. Danielle even found ways to incorporate meaningful, personal details throughout the suite while still keeping us within our budget. That balance of artistry, collaboration, and practicality is rare.
I cannot recommend Danielle and The Paper Garden Co. highly enough. If you’re looking for someone who is exceptionally talented, collaborative, and genuinely invested in bringing your vision to life, you won’t find a better designer.
